Classes

Classes are held on Saturday mornings from 9:00 a.m. to noon from September to May. There are two semesters per school year. Classes are held at Watchung Hills Regional High School, 108 Stirling Road, Warren, New Jersey.

Instruction is oriented toward children and adults of all ages and abilities. We accept students from age three to seniors, native speakers as well as beginners. Small classes enhance the educational experience.

Registration is in September, though we welcome students throughout the year.

Spielschule

- Children age three and four.

Kindergarten

- Children five years of age and older.

Levels 1-8

- Students of elementary and middle school age, both native and non native speakers, are placed according to their abilities.

Level 9-12

- High school age students expand their knowledge of German language skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing) and their knowledge of the literature, history and geography of the German speaking countries in preparation for the American and German college entry tests.

Events

Our school is a member of the GLSC (German Language School Conference); therefore, our students are invited to participate in the Summer exchange program of the GLSC with German students from Ingelheim. They are also invited to attend the Steuben Parade in New York and join a pen-pal program with other PASH school students around the globe.
